Child Rescue Program

Identifying and Supporting Abandoned or Vulnerable Twins, Triplets, and Quadruplets

The Child Rescue Program is a flagship child protection initiative of Twins Forum dedicated to identifying, rescuing, protecting, and supporting abandoned, neglected, abused, or vulnerable twins, triplets, and quadruplets. The program addresses the unique cultural, social, and economic challenges faced by multiple-birth children and works to ensure that every child grows up in a safe, loving, and supportive environment.

Program Goal

Advocacy Program

The Campaigns Addressing Stigma Program seeks to eliminate stigma, discrimination, myths, and misconceptions surrounding twins, multiple births, and their families through evidence-based advocacy, public awareness, education, and community engagement. The program promotes positive attitudes, protects the rights and dignity of twins, and advocates for inclusive policies and practices that recognize twins and multiple-birth families as valued members of society.

Goal

To create inclusive communities where twins and multiple-birth families are respected, protected from discrimination, and empowered to thrive without stigma.

Community Outreach

The program is designed to strengthen the resilience and well-being of vulnerable families through community-based engagement, early identification of needs, and timely support interventions. The program works closely with local leaders, health workers, schools, faith-based organizations, and community volunteers to identify households facing social, economic, health, or protection challenges, with particular attention to families with twins, multiple births, children, women, and other at-risk groups.

It also empowers communities to actively participate in identifying local challenges and developing sustainable solutions that improve family well-being.

The program promotes social inclusion, strengthens referral systems, and advocates for equal access to quality services for marginalized families. By fostering collaboration between communities, government institutions, and development partners, Twins Forum ensures that vulnerable households receive timely interventions that enhance their resilience, protect children's rights, and improve their overall quality of life.

Capacity Building

The program is designed to empower vulnerable families, caregivers, youth, women, and community groups with practical knowledge, vocational skills, and life competencies that promote self-reliance, resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. The program seeks to reduce dependency by equipping participants with the tools, confidence, and opportunities needed to improve their socio-economic well-being.

  • 2 - Equip beneficiaries with marketable vocational and entrepreneurial skills.
