TWINS FORUM
Since our establishment in 2008, Twins Forum has dedicated itself to restoring hope to vulnerable multiple-birth families. What began as an emergency intervention for abandoned quadruplets in Kiboga District, Uganda has evolved into a nationwide movement advocating for health support, education, family empowerment, advocacy, and sustainable community development for vulnerable twins, triplets, quadruplets, and other multiple-birth children across Uganda

Let’s meet our Founders
Babirye Barbara M and Nakato Brenda M
Babirye Barbara M and Nakato Brenda M are twins and co-founders of Twins Forum, where they advocate for vulnerable multiple-birth families and disadvantaged communities. Their leadership is characterized by grassroots community engagement, partnership building, resource mobilization, and a strong commitment to social justice and equitable development.
As twins themselves, they have personally witnessed the challenges faced by twins and other multiple-birth children in their communities. This experience inspired them to take action and lead efforts to support vulnerable twins, triplets, quadruplets, and other multiple-birth children across Uganda.

Publications
Twins Forum and its founders were featured on CNN, Vision Group, and Bukedde TV as part of their advocacy efforts to raise awareness about the challenges faced by twins and to mobilize resources to rescue, protect, and support twins living in poverty and difficult circumstances. Through these media platforms, Twins Forum highlighted the urgent needs of vulnerable twins and called upon individuals, organizations, and well-wishers to contribute resources and support initiatives aimed at improving their welfare, dignity, and quality of life.
